Four places, four time zones, the same time in space, at different times of the day. In this interactive installation, visitors are welcomed to travel between Seoul, Mumbai, NYC, and Oslo to explore different aspects of life all simultaneously playing out across the earth. From a bedroom in Mumbai to a dinner party in Oslo, participants were free to move around for the duration of the piece. In Oslo, the host only spoke Norwegian. In Seoul, a ritual in Korean was taking place. On the busy subway of NYC, a girl speaks on the phone in Taiwanese. Objects to interact with are placed throughout each room: wine, food, books to read, a bed to lay down on, newspapers and music to dance to were some of the items people could engage with.
